Well I had to make this choice just a few weeks ago. In the end I went for a TTDS from DX with 2GB. I have been using a M3 Slim SD since it was released. It was past time to upgrade.

Some things I considered to make a choice..
    +TTDS has SDHC
+TTDS has a better cheat interface then the R4 (IMO)
    +TTDS is a great price.
+TTDS has great loading speed (best on the market ?)
-TTDS has yet to prove if they have regular firmware updates.
-TTDS being a brand new card is hard to find in stock at a good price (supply/demand)
-TTDS shows 5 games in the list at once, R4 shows 15 or more games in the list at once.

Bottom line. The TTDS is cheap on price but not on features. Go for the TTDS.

Be wary with the DSTT/TTDS cards, they have issues with the current batch with a fairly high fail rate.
Ordered one this week and it was faulty. The pins do not make good contact with the DS, and it will either not load at all "There is no DS Card inserted" or the warning screen will show up very faint and not go anywhere.

Still it is a decent enough card for the price, if you manage to get one that works

    Hi,

I started the kids off with the m3 Simply which is great.

Easy to use and plenty of support with firmware upgrades and cheats.

Use to fit about 50 roms on a 2 gig chip.

Now I have updated it for them to the DS Real which is also great.

It came with the rumble cartridge and GBA cartridge.

I have a 8 gig sdhc chip in it.

The DS can read upto 4 gig of roms.

Then I have loaded up the rest with GBA roms.

Support with firmware & cheats is also great.

    Highly recommend the DS Real.

    Cheers

Hey Kingo, what colour was the USB reader in your DSTT?

We have sold about 1000pcs since Dec and had at most 10pcs faulty out of the whole lot. We even tested the first 200pcs we got one by one and found only one dead one.

But I did hear of some stock floating around Aus that has blue USB readers and they had some issues.

In our opinion, your really can't go past the CycloDS or Supercard range. Even the M3 DS Real is a great product. The R4DS & DSTT are kinda stock standard cards. Don't get me wrong, they do a great job, but the likes of Supercard, Cyclo and the new M3 are much better.
R4 DS The R4 DS is the most popular flash card on the market
AceKard 2i AceKard 2i Is the Best DSi Flash Card
CycloDS Evolution CycloDS Is the most feature packed card around
DSTT TTDS DSTT does what you need at the lowest price

Not in Aus but good prices and quick shipping. From what I have read about them is they test all units before there shipped and only list what they have in stock. leetmod dot com

Covert is right though. Modsupplier kicked ass for me. I ordered a Cyclowiz at midday and it turned up via express post interstate at 10am the next morning. Can't ask for more than that.

Be aware though none of the prices listed on any of the pages include GST and they charge GST on postage too, it caught me out. But it was only $7.70 so I guess I'll build a bridge and get over it.

wouldn't they legally have to sell it at that price ? as in oZ must have it stating no gst or ppl gather its already included....

You could try They use to have a shop based in Perth but not sure if they still do. If not they come from China. Bought a few things off them without any probs.

It states it when you get the shopping cart stage.

I don't consider it a huge deal, the GST I mean, I just was a bit surprised and did a double take at the final amount, was just giving a head up on it.

I'd use them again if I needed something without a second thought.

Are all these new carts better than the old G6 passcard setup?

I don't know about the way your setup works but the Cyclowiz is literally, plug - copy - play, from out of the box, nothing else.

Much the same as the G6 setup. Difference I can think of are.

No big passcard hanging of the back. Altho this can be solved by changing the NDS firmware.

    0.256GB vs upto 8GB

Power consumption. Don't know exactly how much more but there is more plugged in.

Transfer speed - Plugging a SDHC card directly into a SDHC reader is very fast.

Action replay cheat engine is in most the new cards.

Touchscreen support at the menu with some new cards (woop de do da.....)

    Big passcard for CycloDS ?

I know that G6 has normal passcard and Cart actually fits exactly like original.

Just thought to ask if there was more support for other Carts over the G6 and whether they provided more space to store games.
