    Default Security ALARM Adelaide.

    Hi Guys!

I looking for a pet friendly alarm for my house. Preferably with Android app on my phone which I can monitor and unable and disable as I don't have a land line but do have voip service.

Please if someone can let me know a good installer and what sort of alarm I should get that will be great help.

    Cheers

You can use a 3rd party IP interface module for the DSC or Ademco panels. Allows web and smartphone control.

RAA only does Alarms with back to base monitoring.

Are you going to have it monitored? If so you have more options and it's always better to have a system monitored for obvious reasons. As for what system you should get, this entirely depends on how much you want to spend. A DAS Reliance 128 is a solid performer for most standard size residences. Put that system with a Permaconn GPRS and you can Arm/Disarm your system with the Permaconn app via 3/4G. This Option Does Require Monitoring.

If you want something more complex such as home automation tied into your alarm system the costs involved can get quite high quickly. If you go down this road you will most likely have to get a system that can handle these types of tasks such as Concept, Tecom, Paradox or Genesis just to mention a few.

For home alarms in Adelaide I would recommend En Guard Security, they have setup reliance systems in the past with Android control.

    Hi BUFF,
Have you decided which "Security Alarm" to get yet? I am looking for one as well but without to have it monitored.
