Some of the Avatars are larger than the 100 X 100 limit, is this going to be a problem?
There is now a small collection of default avatars available via your user control panel or click this link
Any problems , let me know here. I will see if I can find some more to add after I find some smilies

Dunno till someone uses one
Ahh nice game pack there, and one of the avatars that I was going to use at one time (especially seeing it relates to my username).
Sent you a PM about the avatars too
Avatars working well...had to resize to 100x100
here is an easy site to rezize almost anything...
Have we got some guidelines to what avatars are allowed and what avatars are not ?
Having had mine changed by a admin/mod without any PM about it I would like to know.
I feel the avatar I had active was within acceptable limits but it seems that was not the case.
[edit]avatar in question
These are 2 allowed avatars with similar amounts of "skin"
By reading this, you have already given me control over a tiny slice of your mind
good to hear they are working

Mate , I removed it. We have tolerated a fair bit in regards to " skin " but unfortunately every time we tolerate something , people keep pushing the limits and in my opinion yours went past the limit. And if people push the limits , a ban ends up on them. ( which isnt far off )
Quote from rule one of the site rules which everyone was forced to read 2 days ago
1. No offensive images are to be posted , this includes avatars , signature pictures and attachments. Moderators can and will remove any images at their discretion which they deem to be offensive.
I dont have time to contact every person every time I edit , delete , remove or do anything else , nor do the rules require me to , there isnt enough time in the day with the work I am doing at the moment. We will be making an avatar that will replace any avatar removed by staff stating some information , but at the moment , problems are dealt with on the basis of " as they happen ".
The apostrophe in your user name is stuffing up vbulletin. If I click on your avatar vbul says "This user has not registered and therefore does not have a profile to view."
Did a test name change to Jims Brother and your avatar showed OK. Have set it back to Jim's Brother.
Maybe Sanity has an idea on how to fix this.
Fark! I would much rather see a big wobbly set of tits, than Jims Brother's creepy avatar.
I cannot speak for all the members, but I am sure that many, like myself, find your avatar to be offensive and derogatory to the memory of those that suffered the depraved, bestial actions of those perpetrating these ignominious War Crimes against humanity.
Even viler still, is your timing posting this so close to Anzac Day, further sullying the memories of our countrymen and women.
Hi beer4life,
I didn't put up this avatar to offend anyone, I am a firm believer that "If We Forget the Past, History Will Repeat Itself" and that we should never forget what those HERO'S went through for YOU and I.
The photo is of an Australian HERO, Sergeant Leonard George (Len) Siffleet who was executed as a prisoner of war. I don't appolagise for the photo, but if people want it removed then voice your sentiments to the forum administrators.
ANZAC Day did not have any bearing on the timing of this avatar. For your info beer4life I have proudly served in the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Army.
I repeat myself, no offence was intended to anyone.
I don't want this to become an ongoing debate, either lobby to get the photo removed or give a thought and thanks to Sergeant Leonard George (Len) Siffleet and his Brothers in Arms.
Have yourself another beer4life.
Despite your perceived high ideals, permit me to point out that using that photo, does not fit the definition of an Avatar.
It would be insidious to suggest that you can adopt the mantle of those who were so cruelly treated.

For other uses, see Avatar (disambiguation).
An avatar (abbreviations include av ,and avi) is computer user's representation of himself or herself, whether in the form of a three-dimensional model used in computer games,[1] a two-dimensional icon (picture) used on Internet forums and other communities,[2][3] or a text construct found on early systems such as MUDs. It is an “object” representing the embodiment of the user. The term "avatar" can also refer to the personality connected with the screen name, or handle, of an Internet user.[4]
OK guys enough discussion on the avatar in this thread.
