The NHKs (SD) are on C-band aren't they?
    Yep....and the HDs.
All the channels from IS8 are listed under IS19 on Lyngsat - sorry, my bad, keep forgetting which one replaced which one

Hang on, Thala are you using a 3 m dish?
Nope......a 2.3m Phoenix, just like yours.
    Dual-output Satking C-band LNB, into a Satking 8 X 4 Multiswitch, feeding two Strong SRT4922s and a Strong SRT4930.
You can see my dish installation here:

All the transponders on IS19 are romping in here, showing full 97% SS on the Strongs (that seems to be as far as they register) - SQ's are mostly in the 70s and 80s, but I did notice one signal in the high 50s. If you've got a clear shot at it, then it should just about blow you out of the room.

    On with the hunt!

    Final report:

    Got:

    Asiasat 5
    Asiasat 3S
    Chinasat 6B
    Intelsat 8
and possibly Intelsat 19 but it could actually be Intelsat 8 as they are very close and 19 wasn't pre-installed on the decoder so I had to fiddle with it myself with a less than informative manual. Satking phone number in VIC (tried ringing for assistance) is saying disconnected so not sure what's going on there.

After at least 3 days of playing with the angles etc... finally found the best way to get the arc.

Not interested in Thaicom or Palapa etc...

    Thanks for everyone's help.
