How to fix an Active HDMI cable?

I have a 20 meter HDMI cable that I believe is Active rather than Passive (Tested with tester but it only worked on Passive cables).
The cable is a Premium Plus High Speed Version 1.4B 24 AWG cable.
The cable is under the a new timber floor so cannot be replaced.
The cable worked until recently.
What are my options?
Could rewire the HDMI cable as 2 individual CAT5/6 and use a convert the HDMI at both ends?

You haven't explained what the 'issue' is.

I presume the HDMI cable stopped working???

If it's an active cable, it has an amplifier in circuit and if that amp is faulty, it will block signals.

The only option in that case is replace that cable' or use other existing cabling. eg: Cat5/6 with baluns.

Is it not possible to attach a new cable to the old to pull it through?

In confined spaces that cannot be accessed later, installing conduits during construction/renovation is most useful.

If not, you may have to run new cabling through walls/ceilings or externally.
