Default Arianespace launch of Astra 5B and Amazonas 4A

Some members might find this of interest.

I was a little late opening my e-mail this morning, but on doing so, found a message concerning the launch by Arianespace of a mission to deploy two satellites, Astra 5B and Amazonas 4A.

"The next Ariane 5 mission has been delayed by one day due to unfavorable meteorological conditions. Another launch attempt will be made at 5:04 pm EDT Saturday March 22.

Don't miss a single minute! Watch the launch broadcast live beginning at 4:49 pm EDT, Saturday March 22. Join us LIVE on or download the app for iPhone/iPad or Android to view the launch.

    For more information, visit http://www.arianespace.com/index/index.asp."

I don't know whether the launch went ahead or has been delayed again, but regardless, the Arianspace website is well worth looking at.
