Thanks Tiny,
Your right, bloody good session, and a great site - thank you.
In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.
How's that for a definitive statement, Ricciardo drives through half the field including rounding up Vettel fair 'n square... outstanding! Red Bull could not have asked for a better performance considering how under-powered their engines are!

And didn't Vettel have a dummy-spit about it on the radio, then tried running the next guy to overtake him right off the road, talk about unsafe driving, I really think he should be penalized for that.
It's scheduled for replay on OneHD at 23:30 tonight (Monday night) if you missed it, I reckon it's a safe bet I'll be watching it again...

Couldn't wait that long, there is a very good Sky Sports SD 640x360 mp4 available for those that missed the early morning F1 Grand Prix.

Yeah great, showing after midnight again.
OneHD prefers to show another pathetic reality kitchen show for 2 hours at the more humane 9:30 timeslot, as if all the other mainstream channels don't show enough of this vomit.
Tenplay doesn't work for me and washed out mp4 downloads are not my cup of tea on a 50" screen.
Is there any other 'free' alternative to watch this race on demand in decent quality?
It is unfortunately not on Hulu or Megashare.

Have to agree with you nomeat.
I have no frigging idea what ONE HD think sometimes, if its about getting viewers, how good would 8.30pm F1 replay be.
Yep, i don't understand it myself.

Don't you know how to record it?
It's not that hard.

Sh#t; I record it even if I watch it live, just in case I want to watch it again.
There is also the threat that if it's not available to watch when the missus want's I'll have an axe buried in my forehead.

@bigfella327, can't agree more (re post #22), great race; the dice between Lewis & Niko was exceptional, & a great job from Riccardo, he took his time then drove hard when necessary.
A lot of the field could take lessons from his patience!
Cheers, Tiny

Ha ha, isn't that illegal nowadys?
I have given up on recording things long time ago with all this dodgy Chinese PVR stuff playing up or recording the wrong stream or strangely loosing it's settings when you need it most.

I have only got a roku and an old mac mini connected to the TV and can watch almost everything I want to watch when I want to watch but apparently not F1

That Tenplay site could have told me that I live in the States
Finally could watch the race after deleting all my DNS settings in my modem, flushing cache, etc.

They should finally disqualify/retire that Maldonado rowdy.
That sort hoon driving he consistently performs does not belong in F1.
Instead he only gets 10secs drive through, while Ricciardo was disqualified from his podium second for some faulty fuel sensor BS.
The stewards need to get their priorities right and should be under pressure to decide fairly or get fired.
Otherwise great race performance from almost all the other drivers, but it IS Mercedes and the OTHERS.
Hope that will change sometime soon.

Something I didn't pick up on before, Ricciardo was actually given a drive-through penalty for the unsafe pit release (for the loose wheel) in the Malaysian Grand Prix and served that penalty during the race, then the 10 grid-spot penalty was added for the same infringement afterward.

Apparently the stewards have the power to do this within the regulations but what a load of crap! That's like a cop giving you an on-the-spot speeding ticket and then sending out a second fine in the mail saying he gave it some more thought and decided you should pay double?

Somebody also commented that there are a lot of politics going on behind-the-scenes right now too and I can well believe that, there definitely seems to be some hidden agendas being played out.

They didn't just add the 10 grid penalty to Riccardo for the unsafe release.
It's the rule as per
23.12 a) It is the responsibility of the competitor to release his car from his garage or pit stop position only when it is safe to do so. The competitor must also provide a means of clearly establishing, when being viewed from the front of the car, when that car was released.
b) If a car is deemed to have been released in an unsafe condition during any practice session, the stewards may drop the driver such number of grid positions as they consider appropriate.
c) If a car is deemed to have been released in an unsafe condition during a race the driver concerned will receive a ten grid place penalty at the driver's next Event. However, if any car released in an unsafe condition is able to resume the race a penalty under Article 16.3(b) will also be imposed on the driver concerned.

Thank god for the internet, as a bonus, watching the Sky HD coverage with NO Ads was 1000% better than anything ONE HD could have dished up. Better Pre Race, Better Race, Better Post Race, No Ads, No ONE HD commentary team rubbish.

UBS Chinese Grand Prix

Lets see what happens this time.....

As interesting point, Ricardo would have been 3rd in the points standing had his appeal been successful.
Lets hope he has a problem free race this time.

LOL... I hope somebody puts together a Christmas tape of Vettel's dummy spits? I was laughing so hard it brought tears to my eyes...

A bit of a shocker start for Ricciardo (dare I say he had a "Webber moment") but a solid drive yet again, and a "Multi-31" incident yet again, and still finished 25 seconds ahead of Vettel (yet again)!
