Default auto turn on GPS when car start

I want a gps that can auto turn on when i start my car. i will do a DIY wiring and connect the power cable to the car ignition. For this, i will need a gps that has flick switch so it can remain on. Most of the gps units i see have a push button. This wont work. Does any body know of any brand that has this type of switch?

I have a TomTom Go500 and it turns on every time I start the ignition and it is completly standard, my ONE V4, 720 and 910 don't do this so maybe only the early GO series have this quirk.

The cheap deals extreme unit has a power switch. But then it has to boot up. You would want one with standby so it resumes where it left off. A little bit of electronic know-how can have a push button one turning on and off.

yeah my Garmin turns on with the ignition too. It also gives the option to stay on when external power is lost, I thought that this was a normal feature nowadays
