and we have a Mahindra in 2nd
In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

Holy shemozzle Batman, MotoGP free for all start from the pits.

Great racing as they carved their way thru though.

Well done Jack in the Moto3 brilliantly ridden.

Another race at a stupid time for us. Have always preferred anything in Europe, so we see it at about 10pm Sunday nights. I'll still record it though.

Not quite, however close, Starting Grid=

Actually I think he's doing well for jumping in the big pool not long ago. He's learning to go faster, unfortunately those more experienced are F##?ing fast.

Racing starts soon, so get in there & watch it. going to a big night, see ya's all.

Bummer for Rossi as he had a big spill in FP4. He's OK, just bruised. Was going fast though.

    Bring on the conspiracy theories...

Is there a Bernie Ecclestone of MotoGP who decided the ratings were falling?

Doesn't seem like Marquez was even trying?

Shame for Jack Miller, he deserved a higher placing.
I was so ready for the masked man that got a ride on the winner of Moto2's race to fall off the back.
MotoGP, fell asleep, then woke up to hear a very familiar outcome.

Yeah, hard race for Jack, bloody brilliant dicing.

    MotoGP, familiar outcome, what??

Marquez 4th, first time beaten this year!!
Not trying! I doubt it, that was a fast race lap pace the 4 of them were going at.
Mark was just lacking tyre edge grip I'd say.

    1; Pedrosa
    2; Lorenzo
3; Rossi - brave ride after his big off in FP4.

Go back & watch it again, was a good race.

The MotoGP™ World Champion and runaway standings leader had dropped to sixth off the start and was never able to get higher than third. A battle with former Moto2™ rival Andrea Iannone (Pramac Racing) saw the two touch on two occasions.

The battle cost Marquez time, allowing Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) and Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) to break away.
A midrace battle between Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) and Marquez then emerged. The Honda rider put up a tough fight but Rossi eventually overtook him. A gap then began to form and Marquez settled for fourth, his first time off the podium in a MotoGP race which he has finished.
Teammate Pedrosa went on to win the Czech GP, continuing Honda’s streak of wins this season.
Despite finishing in fourth, Marquez still has a 77 point lead in the standings over teammate Pedrosa.
Marquez remained characteristically upbeat after the race, saying, “Today was one of those Sundays in which I neither felt completely comfortable, nor had found the best setup for the bike. It wasn't down to a mistake by me or by the team, it was simply that we didn't have the same feeling as on other Sundays.”

He continued, “In a way it's taken a weight off my shoulders, as now people won't be asking me if I can win every race anymore. It was also important that we were able to focus on staying in fourth, even though it was tough not to be fighting for the win; we took 13 points which are important for the World Championship and we have a big advantage. What matters is who wins the title not who wins the most races.”
    Cheers, Tiny

I stand corrected, obviously in my tired stupa all i heard were voices....
Watch the replay, yeah, no ordinary finish thats for sure.

Downloading a 1080i version now with hopefully some good interviews.
Was there any reports of bike troubles, tires troubles for Marquez, he was he simply out ridden?

EDIT: Its on SPEED again today at 3pm if anyone missed it or would like to record it
Of course ONE HD will replay it too, probably at a very watchable 2am, like they normally do.

Well another hard day at the office for Jack in Moto3, did his best & kept his championship lead. still has 13 points up his sleeve.

MotoGp; great race , watched it twice already, Lorenzo pushed Marquez all the way to the limits.
Good hard riding with a liitle bit of friendly push & shove toward the end.
I thought Mark was going to deck it 2 laps from the end with a big tank slapper going into a corner hard on the brakes, lent over & sideways at the same time. Would have been a big one.

Rossi had another good result after burning up his tyres a bit getting passed Espargaro & Dovizioso, then dicing with Pedrosa.

Also credit to Dovizioso for making the distance at the pointy end of the field for a change, good job.

    More of them please.
    Cheers, Tiny

San Marino this weekend can't wait,

Also noticed by accident that Remy Gardner will get a wild card ride in Moto3 at Phillip Island in October, good on him.
The son of 1987 world 500 GP champion Wayne will make his world championship debut on the same circuit which helped make his father a legend

Remy Gardner will compete as a wildcard in the Moto3 class at the 2014 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island from October 17-19.

Remy, 16, the eldest son of Wayne Gardner, the 1987 world 500 GP champion and the celebrated winner of the first two 500 GP races at Phillip Island in 1989 and 1990, has been racing in the Spanish-based CEV championship for the last three years – the “world championship for juniors” according to Wayne.

Remy currently sits 11th in the 2014 standings, with a best result of third. The latest round was held this past weekend, with Remy’s second row grid position coming to nought after a big highside on lap three.

“It will be awesome racing in Australia. I haven’t actually ridden a Moto3 bike around Phillip Island yet, so it will be a challenge to learn the track,” says Remy. ”But I’m counting on taking the CEV experience that I’ve built up and put it to good use at Phillip Island.

“I am not expecting too much. Even though the CEV competition has been fierce, in reality it’s still a big jump to GPs and it takes a while to get going.”

Gardner will be joined by Red Bull Rookies rider Olly Simpson as the second Moto3 wildcard, while the two Moto2 wildcards spots will be filled by multi-skilled 16-year-old Max Croker, who is currently combining careers in speedway and road racing, and Queenslander Aiden Wagner, a regular on the national supersport scene.

Jack Miller (Moto3), Anthony West (Moto2) and Broc Parkes (MotoGP) are Australia's full-time grand prix contingent in 2014.
