Default VLC crashes when program selected

As the title says. Does this actually work ok? VLC crashes and wants to send Bill Gates a message. the plugin works on the DB as I can browse to the movies on the PC but then after VLC tries to play it it GPF's.

It runs from another pc. The only software installed on the machine I was using was ngrablite and it's main function is running newcs. Doesn't make sense.

Tried re-installing it, or a different version? Have you installed any codec packs?

    Cheers, RHCP.

    IE or Firefox?

I've found Firefox better, but it is easy to miss the browser plugin when you install it - there is a box you must tick for Mozilla...

    should fix it.

For Me, firefox does much better than IE, with the front end installed on the DM & the exrta check box ticked for the firefox mozilla plug in ticked (It's not ticked by default).....

I saw the Moz tick box. I'll go back to the old box and 'experimant' a little more. I miss not being able to search the old DB!

    thanks guys........Leroy
