I've just managed to acquire a dodo Alcatel AL300 modem for a very good price (free) and am looking to see if it can be unlocked as I am not a dodo fan but could use the modem on my lappy with my current provider. Telstra sent me a sim card to use in connection with my home broadband account that has never fired a shot in anger, or otherwise. I thought this might be useful if I can get it to work.
Does anyone know where, and how, to unlock this device, if it can be.

Already tried that one, what seems unusual is, of the places that I've tried, they all seem to offer different unlock keys for the same IMEI. I've managed to unlock a network locked phone before, but, so far have not found anything meaningful on unlocking modems, and now I can't find the sim card for my ISP....aaargh!

As far as I know DC-Unlocker is the best option in terms of avoiding fakes.
Credit for a single unlock is around 10 bucks and you should be able to check if the modem is supported before buying credits.
Websites offering codes or unlock generators usually fail to work anyway.
Keep in mind Dodo often uses hardware noone has seen before, their modems use the Optus network if I'm not mistaken, so maybe with the correct model of the modem it will possible to find a free solution.
