Default Amiko Alien 2 and MGCAMD

Any members have one of these receivers and got mgcamd working ? I have failed to get it working after a few days of lots of work and no results.

Any help appreciated. Glad I have no hair, would have pulled it out by now

Ok, I now have some pictures but not on all channels.

From memory long ago I can remember on Dreambox being able to set a default softcam for each individual channel. Does this still exist in E2 images ?

Any other ideas ? Its unencrypts some but not others.

No I didnt. Just getting it up and running has taken me about a week Thats probably the downside of buying something that doesnt have the popularity and support of say the Vu Duo it replaced (and being a bit rusty on setting boxes up).
Its not a bad box when its up and running, the image I put on it seems to have a plugin for almost every free IP TV service, as well as terrestrial. I picked it up for $220 delivered basically as new from an Austech member.

No drama, just thought it odd that when we were discussing IPTV/XBMC/Netflix and so forth in other threads, that you mentioned you found it amusing that people still chased satellite tv and streams, and that subscribing to Netflix and affiliates solved all that, but you are now getting another sat receiver.

No I am not getting another sat receiver, I am replacing my existing sat receiver that died a couple of weeks ago. No, I dont chase feeds and no I dont chase streams. I have no idea why you find that of any interest. My original quote you mention of "whats sat" was made to Oceanboy and I have no doubt that he would have worked out the meaning of it given the drop of posts in sat forums and the gain in posts in internet TV.
