Their HD movie downloads are often 3 to 4GB guess some games are as big as games have lots of movies in them in HD
My son has a PS3 and has his PS3 connected to the net (stupid me for giving him a Ethernet connection port on the wall behind the PS3) for playing on line games.
The question I would like to know is why do some of these game and other require updates/download of the size of up to 3 gig?. Whats going on guys 3 GIG download is a hell of a download, Is there something sinister going on here or what am I missing.

Sony do much worse than that.
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!
Lol,Lol well that about the only thing that I didn't think off why that damm thing didn't work correctly. Off topic I removed and replaced the card and all is nearly fine now.
Back on topic My weirdo mate. I would like to get a second opinion why my son is downloading such big downloads just for a PS3 game. Is he telling us Fibs!! (Checked download amount from provider)
Some games are 16Gb, so consider yourself lucky. 3Gb is nothing when you consider a Blue-ray can hold 50Gb (dual layer)
I have heard of one game being 32Gb downloaded in 2 parts.
Then there are all the other nasty things Sony do to your console.

I've never really checked as I'm on unlimited downloads but my son seems to download a lot of updates as well on his PS3 and XBox1
sometimes he has to walk away for awhile (the poor soul) as the downloads are fairly large

Thanks guys I know Truck all about this stuff. I just found that 3 gig is a little excessive for a game patch or a download just to update the game..
