    Holiday snap........

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

I cant even watch that, watched 3/4's of it then stopped, its really something i don't need to see. Or don't want to see.
People have wanted me to join them in riding to the MotoGP at Philip Island year after year.... as much as i'd like the mateship, its just not my thing. I'd rather go in a car with all the mentals around those events or in a city for that matter. In saying that, i did do it 24 years ago.
Half the risk of riding a motorcycle, is knowing WHERE to ride and WHEN.... The other half is whats in your grey matter.
From what i saw in the 3/4 of that footage, he was putting himself in more risk than needed.
Which we all do when riding a bike on the road, but at least i pick places where IF i do come off, it will be all my own doing

I'm guessing that's not the first time you've had to recover it from a tree?

I'd love to get a setup like this for myself, it would be absolutely unreal for doing recce's on bushfires!

Very confident rider, many older people could not stay on an animal bare back even if it were just walking, the fact that she can remain so even when the animal is on his hind legs is brilliant!

    This is worth a watch

In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

Australian Drag Cars, not everyones cup of tea.
But this video just shows the advances that have happened in recent years! Parts you can buy off the shelf, engines you can import in a crate, twin turbo under bonnet solutions that run times that used to be only available to a dragster or early Top Fueler. Now if you have some cash, you can have a 6 second car. America they are even a bit faster!
In saying that, the Blown Ford is pretty handy, skip to the end of the video to see it run.
Wheel stands almost the entire 1/4mile.... Can you imagine pulling a wheelie in a car at over 370km/h! Now thats power!

10.5" wheels and mid 6 second passes in street cars!
