It's fab stuff to look at, having lived through it ..lots and lots of sociology on display ~ you skip from one year to another, different fashions, hair. presentation. I tend to try to divine how much of what I'm seeing is limited to technological advances, versus social ones... and one looks at it now in real time, and you hit the question nail on the head... try explaining why it's "historical documents" (Galaxy Quest, Thermians ..they believed Gilligan's Island was a true account...so much funny in that scene =)

For example....check this one out, 1977 .... this shit's outstanding, I have nothing but praise for those who take the time to digitize/encode this old tape resource....(and we sit here thinking about how many VHS tapes got thrown into the garbage, funny old world 8)

That's all kinds of impressive, I really like physics in action...always so drenched with Murphy's Law....the hollywood stunt you can't plan to setup.... shit happens, tends to be awesome when it does...

....now....you watch....that's a design flaw, akin to why trains (and other machinery) have dead-man switches ....errr...sorry, dead-operator switches....and this will need to be addressed..... as will be the concept of selling vehicles that can do 140kph+ in places where the national speed limits are 110kph or less.....bring on the smart EVs .... speed governed using telematic 5G systems, retina scanners built into the dash to determine driver condition...if driver does something particularly inane, car pulls over...dials triple 0 and detains driver until police arrive...lol..

....and it's further testimony of how much 'incidental' vision these cctv/dashcam/surveillance cameras record....and yet none of these billions of recording devices ever records a UFO ....(except near Jed Clampet's place...out back behind the cee-ment pond)..
