Even those same network channels on the same transponder?

Yep.. that is quite a shame and I wonder why then the TV with integrated VAST tuner is different to the UEC tuners in the STB's.

Apart from losing the -all-in-one convenience, we are still better off with a standard TV and separate VAST decoder then.

AFAIK [unless I'm badly mistaken] I don't think it is different to the single tuner 4121 -- it can't perform this function either.

I thought mine did it.... unless I'm confusing it with something else... I'll check.

EDIT: Nope, it doesn't, so you are quite correct.

My FTA sat decoder does it, but not the VAST box

It is a shame they don't reshuffle the channels so you can at least watch and record 2 different channels from the same network. They should split some of the Regional News channels apart so they can squeeze 7mate back in, then allow it across all single tuner devices (if they're compatible?) I think SBS Tassie is in the same boat. Wouldn't be that hard surely!

    Digging up an old thread.

I am thinking of getting one of these TV's for a second bedroom and want to wall mount and not have a separate STB to mount as well.

Anyone got one and found any issues etc?

I was thinking of the 32inch one.

I will have no need to record anything, but would want to use the USB to hopefully play some movies from an external hard drive, not sure if these TV's will support that, but the manual seems to say it will play media files.
