Hi I am trying to backup my mates chipped XBox for him
I have found the games in F drive under games
but where do they store the "game saves" on the HDD???
And also I am using cute FTP but its sooooo sloooooow only 7mb a second and I am talking about over 200 gig of games this is going to take forever is there a faster way of doing this

Try switching between active and passive transfer modes in the ftp client. I dont remember which one was supported and which one wasnt anymore.
What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

Thanks guys i ticked and unticked everything possible and found one called Mode Z and that got it up to 10 meg Is that about the speed I should get or could it get it better.

depends on the network card, and router speeds in your network setup. Most modern computers these days should at max out @ 100mb, provided that copying the files is the only task you are performing on the network. Ie running your broadband etc can slow your network down.
I do find that 100s of small files does take longer to copy than a few large files of the same size over the network.
an xbox only has a 100mbit network port
so 10mb is about the best you can ever hope for
