I have a 5400z, what can i use it for.

I have a humax 5400z from years ago, i pulled out of of the cupboard and checked ebay to see if I could get a few bucks for it and people were getting $150+.
My question is what can it be used for these days? I have a 90cm dish on the roof and a lnb and thats it, what is popular that I can pick up?

Otherwise I'm going to sell this off.

Edit: Yes I have tried the search and am not getting straight info

Go to Lyngsat and have a look at D1, D2, C1, INT2, INT8, i701, NSS6 and AS4 and have a look at the KU frequencies that are marked "F" and that's what you can get for Free.

Doorstop is what it has been used for for the last few years

. Reading more and more posts I think it can be used for other things also.

You can use it for lots of things... it's an Irdeto box, so you can run an Aurora card in it, a Whitey in it with stock firmware, all the FTA stuff as mentioned, or just use it as a tool to tune in dishes or as a back up box to double check things when fault finding.

a 5400z has the cam slots so in fact can be used for just about anything excepting austar
it can be used for nds services using the right cam
and contrary to popular belief on this forum there is more than one satellite up there and also another myth on here is there are more than white cards you can use for other services ( and i dont mean by pirating them ,its called subscription television , you actually pay for something )
these sub cards may not be legal in australia but with a bit of homework they can be sourced and usually at a good price
