Yes, it does show BER as a numerical value, which is good and for a very basic unit, I'm sure it's huge step up from what the OP was using previously.

hey guys, ive decided im going to save up a little bit and buy the model antennaman linked me to should be a fun toy to play with, again thank you everyone for your input this will definantly be a huge step up from my $30 dtv meter.
