Still no reply
Another vote for the Vu
Best quality boxes I've come across
give vuplus oz some time to reply
he doesn't exactly do this for a living plus I think it's holiday season in Europe now so ordering will take time
Yes Still no reply. Not in a hurry to buy the Vu Duo2 and whilst I'm waiting I'm doing more reading and trying to find more places in purchasing one for the right price and is not a clone. It worries me that there a places selling the Clone for nearly the same price as the original.
How long has the Vu Duo2 been available or its release date (months year will do)
The Vu Duo2 has only been released in July 2013
as far as I'm aware there are no clones of these (yet)
unlike the Vu Solo2 which seems to have plenty of clones
Maybe the Chinese got scared of the "BOMB" that killed there clone boxes and decided not to make a copy of the Vu duo and 2 (Message for our f..k head government and other just in case you take the word "BOMB" out of wrong context. The bomb was the way the manufacture of Vu products used a method known to Kill the Clone boxes. Ohhhhh I said the word Kill Another message to our and other Governemts.. when I mean KILL I mean to disable a copy or an Original box made by a third World Country Called China,, ohhh I said the word China Ohh they will investigate me know as Its a Policy soon to come that's its 3 strikes and your out. This will be the future guys.
China are not scared.
Plenty of firmwares that have a safe boot loader.
Few members here have the Solo2, no complaints from them.
Simple question for the ones that know.
Buying a Vu duo2 from the UK with the VAT tax on the item when they sell you the item is the VAT removed? I think the VAT is 19%. "eg" the Vu duo2 in euro is 449 Euro so should they be taking the VAT off that 449 Euro, them add the Shipping cost.
Thats the way i understand it, just ask them.
Germany the VAT is 19%
I think the VAT works the same as our GST does, any items bought by a customer overseas is TAX free.
The big question is, does the company want to deal with an overseas customer ?
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
Maybe, depends if you want the box or not?
I'm not sure, but maybe you could claim it back here?
I can't see how you could claim back VAT in Australia, as we are not part of the EU where VAT applies.
It's up to the 'exporter' to not charge VAT.
The same applies if an Australian business sells to overseas, they should not add GST and if they did, the OS buyer cannot claim the GST component back.
