Vu Duo take some beating I believe although I do not have any proof myself.
I'm after a new Satellite mpeg 4 box that is available today that can have a Hard drive fitted inside it like the AZBox Premium + that does what the AZBox premium + can do or more but has one thing better than what the AZBox premium + can't do which is change into setting/channels/other reasonably fast (similar to a Openbox S10). I have this AZBox premium + and its a PIG from day in being so SLOW in doing anything. Don't get me wrong the AZBox is a good box but its suffers from going slow or taking it time to do anything. Again its been like this from day one.

Thanks for your reply marty. yep It would be good if someone has one of the Vu Duo models. If I remember correctly (me remember anything Lol,Lol,) I think they make a few models but was not sure if they can take a 3.5 inch Hard drive in them.
Yes the Azbox Premium plus is a boat anchor when using the ir control, I'm sick of it being so slow of processing my request and because its so slow I have to press whatever button more then once to achieve what channel or whatever I want.
I love the openbox s10 its fast the s16 is not as fast but better than the Azbox. Its just a case that I would like my main box (not openboxes, they have no position for a hard drive) that controls my motorised dish + diseqc dishes from 1 to 12.
I would take a guess the the AZbox's cpu is a little bit to slow for this complicated box
Vu Ultimo if you ask me... Triple Tuner + USB Tuner if you like (so 4 tuners, 2 x DVB S2 and 2 x DVB T).
The only thing i'd buy over the Vu Ultimo is the new Vu range with Dual Core 1.3Ghz CPU
Channels changes are faster than all my TV's, runs cool, hasn't failed or skipped a beat since day one, gets used every day, never been turned off.
Fast IR response
Fast Zapping
Zero noise, there is a fan, but you can not even hear it.
2 Tb HDD fitted
Plays all over media if you want to go down that road.

There is no other box on the market that can display 4:2:2 feeds.
There is no one box that can do everything. That's why most people have 2-3 receivers.

Yes I have more than 3 boxes but my Azbox was my number one that controlled all but its slowness pi.s.ses me off. I have a collection of Openboxes and they love biss but they are a simple box with no Hard drive provision. If I do buy another box to be the boss I will sack the Azbox to No 2 in the pecking order since it does 4:2:2 but I cant get the AZbox working with biss so really the Openboxes have more bite on the pecking order due to there capabilities in biss.
One of many sellers
Mr 672A (07-08-14)
Duo 2 = 419 Euro + 30 Euro freight + if you pay by paypal is another 4% value of the goods so it will cost you around 467 Euro's and that's at today's prices around $673 Australian Dollars.Wow now that a hefty price but if it does what it says its capable of doing well it might be worth it.
Yes, i scoffed at the price when i bought my Vu Ultimo... But it as been worth every cent to have an Original product.
The money is soon forgotten when it just works day in, day out, whisper quite, faultless.
Remember, there is also cheaper options
And maybe with some searching, you will find a cheaper original.
If this is to be your "Main" box, then in my mind its worth it.... To have DVB T and DVB S2 all in the one box is priceless for me, no more changing Inputs or Receiver settings, its all in one box... 680 TV channels of shit
I havent used the Digital Tuner on my TV since i got it.
Plus then you have the benefit of having a DVB T PVR too
I think i have recorded 3 things at the same time.... Handled it with ease.

Yes
In fact, if you are on a budget, you can have a triple tuner Vu Duo using a USB DVB T Tuner.
Another reliable seller (yes that is fact as I have purchased from them ) but probably clone boxes.
Mr 672A (07-08-14)
Probably ? You don't know what you are buying ?
I would buy a genuine box over a clone any day. I bought a genuine Vu Duo new and it was well worth the money. I also have a clone and it suffers from lag compared to a genuine unit. Clone remotes are terrible compared to genuine, bin jobs after six months if you don't like rattle remotes with buttons that only occasionally work.
Knowing Mr 672a for at least a decade, I would recommend he does not buy a clone.
You get what you pay for in my opinion.
If you buy a clone at 50% off the price fair enough buy was reading guys that purchased the solo 2 for nearly the same price as original.
Have a look at the prices on ebay pommie land.
And you're right. Like I said in my other post If you buy a clone for half the prices well that's not bad it it preforms similar but I have been reading were people have bought clones for nearly 95% the price of the original OOOhhh As Eddy Murphy would say "GET AWAY" You know where they can stick that.
