DAS or Pacom part number S40654 up to 40 meters. They cost a small fortune especially x10.

Didn't Bosch buy Extreme - I read that on cctv forum..

Make sure your using a camera with IR filter or mechanical swithing to B/W mode,

I have used allthings illuminators, some from ness to, Cp cam have a white LED ext camera which works well, if it doesn't matter if the IR light is obvious, over that distance it would be hard to hide.

The Extreme cctv gear is awesome, been to a job with them, the footage at night is 100%, most IR Illuminators make a "torch" like effect..

Extreme dont give them a go dude

We use SAMSUNG, theres no comparison ST.

The 735 and 740 are top of the range,
the 415 is also good for every day use, and the new ir range is fantastic,
Just used 15 IR domes (4150) on a job, brilliant results for analouge that is.
6 full body IR cams on a guys house (4250) not to bad either for the price.

I have used the bosch 485 camera, not to bad, good for night clubs and low light situations, but the samsung 740 is also good there to.

I know panasonic is superior for those situations also.

Have you had a chance to play with their DHC-Imaging range?

I have used some but I wasn't impressed, but that may have been because the adpro machine I was connecting to had LCD's connected ot it, so the images were a bit average.

I agree, we have worked on a few sites where pana has been used by previous contractors, but its expensive.

Bosch Bought Extreme and they do the best UF series of IR casters...if your using XF's make sure its the 495 and not the 485, otherwise your wasting your money as the IR filter will block your IR light..as for using CP cams casters..beware of the freq they emit, your camera needs to support this freq...using a 495 and extreemes Uf series is amazing

Use the extreme Black Diamond, I just installed some and they light up over 80 mtrs better than any IR I have ever seen..

Using Dinion 495 is the best option with the BD
