Default Big changes in the Industry

I hear from a good source that SiS INDIA have purchased CHUBB, as of end of July.

How does this affect employees and contractors? Anyone directly affected here?

Its a sad day for Australian customers, good news for others looking to pickup some clients.

Not fully 100% correct, check the document attached,

I wouldn't be surprised if they did move their monitoring offshore, theres been word of that before, also their accounts are offshore, so it could be on the cards.

as contractors, we are told we will be given the clients, but with this sale, that contradicts what we've been told.
everyones scrambling for their lifes, I know guys are stealing clients form right under their nose, its wrong.

Don't work for them, have relations with them, received the email late this afternoon.

I know a few people in the industry who do though and they are scrounging for their jobs etc, I believe some are involved in contacting the customers direct to try and set themselves up, I believe Chubb management is aware of this also.

    Pm sent manicretep.

You are all speculating this is a great way to start gossip
Security-tech, interesting that you would post an email for employee's only on a public forum. not very smart considering the very strict public / media policy which was also attached to that email.

Hey George, dont want to start a shit fight here, and just so you know i have nothing to do with 'C' but just because somebody works at a certain company doesnt make them any less of a person or technician. I have some good friends that work there, and at some other big nationals and there good people.

Its the overall company that makes the particular compnay shit, not the individual.

How does it affect security techs? They have retained (not sold) Chubb Electronic Security division.

That's good and well, but I didn't say he was less of a person or tech, nor did I imply that in anyway. I just stated that I thought he worked for Chubb, and that the comment he made reaffirmed my thoughts.

I couldn't give a shit where he worked.

    Keef82, hold up brother,
The industry is well known for being rife in the gossip department before I started posting here,

Its common knowledge that is was being sold,

I'm not an employee as stated in my Private message to you, I HAVE RELATIONS with them,

If it was so "confidential" then everyones email address's would have been Blind Copied BCC, not exposed to everyone ad anyone who gets hold of it.

    I have work to do.

    Well put chimp.
If IHG had half a brain then he would relise that the techs don't control the direction or polices of these multinationals. They are the unfortunate pawns that get used and spat out when the management need scapegoats to keep their own employment secure. I also know many good and some not so good techs in "C". Some of these guys don't have an option to work for themselves or change companies due to the economical climate at present but that doesn't make them any less of a tech because who they work for.
You should judge a person by his individual capabilities and not who he works for i say.
And for the record george, i dont work for any of the multinationals.

Gees your sharp and on the ball george. Nothing gets past you.
Keefie has never made any secret of who he works for as long as i can remember back. The only difference is he does not promote himself in his signature on every post

LOL, I suppose owning a business and promoting it is a bad thing??? Gees hope you're not in marketing.

Besides, I have enjoyed the amount of phone traffic I receive through this site, so I'm sorry if you have to see my Sig on and on again.

What does this verbal diarrhea have to do with what I said?

Again, in case you missed my earlier post before dribbling shit on your keyboard...

It seems to me that a few need removing from this forum.

How is all your rhetoric helping anyone? Seriously!

Lets get back on track, Keef you leave george alone and george you leave poor wittle keefy alone, he cant help the fact he was born in 82...

    Play schools on.
