    Hi guys,
I'm looking for a microphone wiring diagram for an Electrophone TX 525 cb radio.
Nothing seems to be coming up on Mr Google.

You will find a circuit diagram for a TX-550 at .

The microphone wiring might be similar to the TX-525.

These pin outs were always in the back of Dick Smith Catalogues.
If someone has a very old one it will be there.

Correct - back in the days when Dicks were actually useful and had practical info in their catalogs.
Also just google 4-pin microphone plug connections - there are only a couple of variations and you'll soon work out
    which is which.
Generally you have: audio +, audio GND, PTT and cable shield. Audio GND and cable shield are usually tied together.

    Thanks guys.
I worked out the wiring but the unit had other faults so it went in the bin.
