In all honesty I think you are better off with a seperate box.
With receivers with XBMC installed , they are pretty hard to beat and make satellite look a bit average in comparison.
Hi,
I noticed the last post about the Ultraplus which sounds alright, but I was wonder if there was a model on the market which officially combined satellite with IPTV? Specifically IPTV that you can enter addresses into and save, and/or watch internet Tv from a web browser.
Tried watching some streaming tv on my Strong 4930L on the in-built web browser but it doesn't support this function. I guess they want people to buy their IPTV boxes separately?
Yes I have tried those funny patches you can download from the net, but they either do wierd things to my box or just show some French and Middle East centric programs or don't work what so ever.
Does anyone know?
cheers.

I know where you are coming from
I tried a few different addons to my Vu Duo but didnt have much luck with them really and lost interest for a while. Then when I noticed a bit of interest in the Internet TV forum, I ended up purchasing a m8 receiver and havent looked back.
I actually have my satellite running through it as well , so I dont actually have to use my sat box.
Or what do you think about this one Admin.
