    Default Very old Plasma TV

I have a very old Panasonic Plasma TV in my man cave.
At the moment the only plug in is the Terrestrial antenna.
There are 3 RCA Video input sockets similar to these

Can one of these RCA input sockets be converted to USB so that I can plug in an External HDD and watch recorded movies??
If possible, what sort of converter cable / device should I purchase??

In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

    Default

Probably your best bet would be a media player with component out.

This uses the RGB (COMP) inputs, which give a much higher picture quality compared to using the AV connections (composite).

Depending on the screen resolution, component can do up to 1080i.
