Modifying Wii Memory?

Is there such a thing as modifying the memory of the Wii so that it can copy games directly onto the memory. A girl at work has been told that it can be done. I haven't heard of it and told her that I didn't think it was true. Any comments?

no that is rubbish mate

the best you can do is transfer saves and downloaded games (DL'ed legit games using the online service) onto an sd card
you need to have at least firmware V3.00 to this I think

also beware of some places advertising Wii HDD upgrades lmao

Thats what I thought and I'm pretty sure the HD upgrade was exactly what she was talking about.

what about the usb gekko doesnt that allow backing up ???

It allows backup up of the images to then rewrite to another disk, you cant play them from the iso.
