Hi, i have had the whole go with water damage.
Last phone was dropped in toilet and had just ran out of warranty which im pretty sure is voided anyways with water damage.
Took it to shops repairs a plenty, and finally found one that did it for $70 with no guarantee that it would work. Ended up working but bit the dust 3 months ago.
Just my luck that my current phone has had the same accident but with a bath. Honestly dont wanna do the run around again.
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

u wouldn't have household insurance by any chance ?
Nokia claimed my daughters phone (a cheapie) was water damaged and wouldn't fix it.
I told them they should make phones which are not damaged by the condensation in ones breath during a normal conversation.
Yet my son has had his N95 in twice for repair within 2 weeks.
I think it's their way of getting out of warranty issues with cheapies.
If your phone gets wet, as long as you turn it off ASAP and don't go pressing buttons, it will work fine once dried out.
To dry it out find some disassembly instructions on the net, rip it apart, let it dry out for a looong time (like days), stick it back together and charge it. If it still don't work it may be your battery so borrow a friends and try that.
