TOPOAUNZ and Mapsource

Hi Chaps

I have a copy of TOPOAUNZv5 Lite and when I unload it and place into the Garmin folder on my C:\ drive with the

other City Nav' maps ie. (2015.20, 2015.30 ) and run Mapsource it does not show up but the others do.

So can TOPO- ect be made to run in Mapsourse or do I need another program.

I have loaded it into my Nuvi 1490T ok and it runs/displays ok there.

Yes & No.

The Map Img file cannot just be placed in a folder to run in MapSource, you need it converted to Gmap format using GmapTool or Mapset Toolkit, both need cGpsMapper installed to do this.. Both tricky programs to learn & get it right.

BaseCamp will read the .img file from an SD card in a card reader or via your GPS.
