I'm getting sick of losing my keys, my kids loosing their school hats (which are not cheap) and stuff at school. I looked up a few websites selling RFID tag style systems to keep track of items but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them or can recommend a product?

Out of the 6 sites I visited, a few wanted a subscription to keep them working which isn't going to happen (especially when you have to buy the damn things in the first place) and another 2 hadn't actually made a product yet, but you could pre-order them , and a few of the sites were dodgy, with errors and broken links. Doesn't really make me want to open my wallet to buy their product, especially when it will be tied to an iOS or Android app.
