    Default Openbox S10 Power Supply

Anyone know any local sources for these now? I look on eBay and the only ones are see are from the UK. Back when I bought one last time, I could source them from Hong Kong. I guess now they're old hat, nobody sells them much any more.

Be careful, I got 2 S10, both look exactly the same, make sure yours has the on on that website. I say this as the other S10 I have has a longer PSU board,I swapped it with the short PSU board(the 1 on the pic on that website,It fried the Diode and other capacitor and relay, but it didn't blow the fuse, very strange,I got someone to rebuild the longer PSU.

Yeah, the short one I had keeps rebooting, the long one just had red led light on,I thought I try swap the PSU over, to test it.unfortunately when I put the short PSU on the other one,It sparked. So I took it to TV repairman,he fixed the short one with 1 capacitor. and currently rebuilding the long PSU,-found out the diode and the square relay has shot thru.

If I'm not wrong, the short PSU are the original ones and the long PSU are the chinese copy. just turn the box off completely when not in use, making sure you will get a longer life...

my new power supply arrived (DHL from China is really fast!!). Working again as expected. I note the yellow thing on the new one is going going left to right, instead of up down (across the width of the power supply)
