Default Chinese GPS lag, and cant find GPS path

    hey guys,

Seems as though I should have learnt by now; but I purchased a chinese 2DIN from china and now I'm having problems with it. Surely enough the seller has no interest in helping, and when she tries to help the advice is completely irrelevant.

I'm hoping you guys will be able to help me.

    It's a:

    2 DIN unit

    CPU:ARM11+ARM9 833MHZ frequency

    Windows CE 6.0

Problem is, when I turn the car on the GPS seems to turn on then off then on again; taking more than 30 seconds just to power up.
Next problem is, I can't get into the navigation path, therefore i can't use the GPS and the entire device is pretty much useless to me.

The seller have recommended a system update... which I do not have.

Really hope you guys can help me out on this.
I uploaded a video on youtube to help !

Is your gps running iGO? If yes, then try to place the igo files in the folder where the gps is located. You did not make backup of the gps files?

Looks like this is your unit? >
Wouldn't surprise me at all if no navigation program is loaded at all
Do as e1p1 suggested and install it yourself

Do you have a micro sd installed with software on it ? More than likely thats your problem.

You can check that the unit functions ok by loading a txt document into a folder on the root of our micro sd card . put it in gps sd slot on your unit and it should show the paths on sd card where you got stuck on first video.

If that works download the gps software and copy to your sd card, direct it to the exe file (IGO.EXE OR PRIMO.EXE) in that program and you will be working.
