Healing HHS242 sound problem on some FTA Intelsat 19 channels
Due to a change on some transponder affecting a number of satelite decoders with certain chipsets now being unable to decode audio since late December 2014.
This affercts Intelsat 19 KU band FTA channels Euro News, France 24 and RTS. And in particular affects the Healing HHS242 satelite receiver.
I emailed technical support and got no reply. I then phoned the support number listed on there web site. The person I spoke to told me that satellite receiver technical support was still away over Christmas and would not be back untill Monday the 19th of January 2015. Yet hey are aware of the problem and are currently working with the overseas manufacturers to resolve the problem.
Till then those who have emailed support like me will just have to wait till after the 19th when support returns. Hopefully by then they will have this issue resolved.

I read and replied in the other thread but since the topic header and thread was related to a different decoder. Thought I'd start a new thread on this decoder to kepp people informaed. Just in case people were specifically look for information on this decoder. Even though the this specific problem relates to many different decoders.

Received email from Healing Australia. With firmware update. I have installed the unew firmware and can confirm that the update has fixed the audio problem that occurred recently on IS19 TV stations Euronews, News 24 and RTS. Due to some changes that occurred
