It was an all star cast in Sydney from memory, only Keith Moon from The Who came over for it. The event was recorded in full on black and white videotape and is on youtube somewhere in two parts.

Just got home and did a search on YouTube. Tommy the stage production 1973 gives all the results on YouTube.

Made the mistake of downloading the movie yesterday.
Followed your advice and found it in 10 parts - obviously each part (of 8 or 9 minutes) in between commercial breaks!

I thought I saw a full version there but I might be mistaken. I did watch it in two parts some time ago, not 10 like I see is up.
