I can set up remote support for this system. Parts are available, I have stock.
Its not dead yet! although support seems to have died pretty quick around the country. I am very much active with the system still and can provide help.
Are you servicing these. If so what are your contact details.

This is one of the biggest pitfalls of "home automation" - longevity.

A 100 year old house can easily have its electrical wiring modified. Whereas a ten year old 'smart home' can be a write-off if the vendor no longer distributes or supports parts. Not so smart after all...

Greetings everyone, I know this is a long shot due to the age of the thread and the product.
My first post is a request for information on locating a copy of the iBas software for iControl system programming.
My old laptop has long died but I still have the installation serial.(probably version dependant).

Does anyone have a copy, please.

Pretty rare for me to use HPM automation gear as I have been programming C-Bus fulltime for around 12 years.
Every now & then you come across a Client that you would like to help out with their iControl or Oscar.

Any info greatly appreciated - Thank you.

    Default HPM iControl user manual

Hi everyone - I know that this is an ancient thread and the HPM iControl is long defunct. I moved into a place that hasit installed (apparently the developers were somehow attached to the HPM family). We've got lights going on and off at all different hours and I cannot get past the "keypad locked" screen on the keypad. Does anyone have access to a user manual and will it help me navigate how to reset some of the basic automation?

    Thanks in advance

Let's try to keep this thread going... I am in the same boat as iControlFrustration and cannot get past the keypad locked. The keypad now seems to be powering on/off due to an iffy connection of the control wires and it is no longer turning the lights around the unit complex I manage on/off at all and I have to use the manual override switches. Surely the keypad is used for something - otherwise why does it exist?

Just thought I would post here in the hope that someone with the manual is still listening. As I have just registered I cannot PM so I cannot contact HPMUser or GoldStorm (who appear to have been able to get the manuals) directly. I have tried emailing HPM for help but they didn't want to know me.

Grateful for any help you can offer as I need to fix this thing.

Hopefully this will help someone. After spending the weekend re-soldering the contacts for the LCD screen and messing about with the power connection I have the control panel unit running again. When I re-installed the control panel, after being powered off by disconnecting the power connector, it was not locked and I was in business. I was able to go through the settings and it looks pretty straight forward to me. I left it for the morning, planning to come back and work on during lunch, and the keypad is now locked.

With a lot of trial and error I have been able to UNLOCK the keypad. The process to unlock the keypad that worked for me was to press the following sequence of buttons:
    On/Off (single beep)
    0 (single beep)
    On/Off (single beep)
    0 (single beep)
If you get a multiple beep then try On/Off until it only does a single beep. This same sequence also serves to lock the keypad when it is unlocked. Thought it would be best to record this here as the only thread with any information on this system.

I plan to update the thread further with anything else I find out as I go along. My database is completely gone, not sure what happened to it, so I am going to manually setup all 23 4Ch Switches. This looks like it is going to be a tedious task requiring a helper to press the service button on each of the Switches so that I know what I am dealing with as all the switches have "Dymo" printed tape labels.

    Cheers All.

I’m after some information regarding HPM iControl as well. I have next to nothing on the product.
A customer of mine has it installed, somebody else did the install, what I need to do is get ELAN to talk to it, there is a H2A unit installed (I’m assuming that’s the keypad), and a H2U touchscreen, but the touchscreen has died.
I did notice that the keypad has a RJ-45 connector which is the RS-232 port. Can I assume correct that the RJ-45 connector can be used to interface using RS-232, if I can does anybody are the pin out config?

If you're still looking for a copy of the User Manual, I have a copy of V1.3. I'm not sure if I can attach it here... PM me if you like.

How did you go reprogramming your system? I need to swap a faulty single-button panel but don't have the manuals or the installer PIN. Any assistance would be great!
