    Default Switching, will this work?

So, I have the following set up.

One stand alone dish, pointing at C1, single wire going to a STB

One dual LNB dish, with one wire coming out, switching activated by 22KHz tone. LNB points to D1/C1. This has numerous STB's connected to it. C1 can not be used off this dish (as the tone is never turned on). All STB's use D1 only.

I want one of my STB's to access both D1 and C1 without having to buy another LNB (i'm a bit poor right now).

So my plan was either to (preferably) buy a DiSEqC switch to change between the two dishes depending which channel I want.

    Will this work?

The main thing I can think of is that the DiSEqC switch will not work due to the 22KHz switch being in place. However as it's after the DiSEQc switch, then I think it woudn't matter.

No mate .........as far as i know you not going to get D1 & CI sats on one dish with one LNB you need a another LNB & DISEqC to get 2 birds on one STB ( setellit reciver) or get another dish & LNB for C1/D1 but you still need DISEqC

yes yes, I get that. I have two LNBs that point 'live' to the same place, I just want to know if the DiSEqC switch will work properly in my scenario. Especially with the 22KHz switch already on one of the dishes.

At the moment, I can handle this by switching the STB off, and switching the cables over, but it's a PITA
