Iv been using it for 2 weeks now seems very stable (1 crash in the 2 weeks) unlike 2.11.77/87/97 which i was experiencing crashes once a week if not more, and youtube works again, now i got my firmware direct off ultrapower and he got me to load new plugins before the firmware

So are there any significant new features or changes from 2.11.77?
Or is it mainly stability & bug fixes?

    2.11.15 works fine

However there is a firmware issue that involves a frustrating blind scan stall when scanning OPtus D1 and Optus D2. This issue doesn't happen on firmware 2.11.70

    The 2 troublesome transponders are

    D1 12537 V Sr 36699 = DVBS2/QPSK, 1/2 fec
    D2 12405 V Sr 44999 = DVBS2/QPSK, 1/2 fec

They will SOMETIMES skip past without an issue. However a great deal of the time the receiver stalls when scanning those 2 transponders. (Its not a crash as you can still exit out of the scan)

Is there anyone else who makes the same observation?

Just not sure its worth upgrading 2.11.77 has been quite stable for me..

I have been seriously considering buying a VU+ Duo 2, at least they seem to make serious improvements regularly
However, I watch nearly all my TV via internet now.. so its hardly worth buying new decoder.. its only my wife that records her TV programs on the Ultralplus

Yes, I have exactly that problem. Only one successful blind scan in about 10 attempts, on Optus D1.

The issue is specific to those two transponders. Several people have had the issue and its been like it since they changed something back in 2.11.70.

If you reload that version, the issue disappears.

Its not the actual scan that stops it , its the channel loading part, sometimes if you wait 10 minutes on D1 it will complete. But 8 minutes of that its stuck trying to latch onto 12537 V

Yes I ve got the same issue with those 2 tp's on both satellites , noticed it for quiet some time meanwhile , first D1 and later on D2 as well , very annoying it stopped me from doing blind scans and lost a bit of interest of blind scanning satellites .
Ive got the Xcruiser 385HD fw-v2.12.16 and the Xcruiser 385HDAvant fw-v3.01.98 both with latest fw installed , every time when there is a new fw I do hope they fixed the blind scan issue , but no ,
    no change ...
I would change back to 2.11.70 just for the blind scan problem might do that later on this evening lol .... Pisses you off no decent blind scan on a blind scan receiver ...

    Thanks Robbie

Just tried some versions on the Xcruiser385HD AVANT firmwares (first one ) v3.01.35 , v3.01.63 , v3.01.74 all those FW versions have the same problem blind scanning , tomorrow I will try some different fw versions on the Xcruiser 385HD and see what happens .... def. try the 2.11.70

The Xcruiser 385HD AVANT blind scans way faster than the Xcruiser 385HD like IS19 blind scans no problem

Yeah you are so right , just changed fw to 2.11.70 and blind scans without any problems on D1 and D2 , I will try the .77 as well ......... the .77 does not finish the blind scan .

Just installed Flash V6, Restore Receiver to Factory default settings which restores the receiver to factory default firmware 3.00.99 on the Xcruiser 385HD AVANT
and blind scans D1 and D2 with no problems what so ever

edit: the 3.00.99 fw version is very unstable not worth keeping it on at all , but blind scans fine !!!
in none of the updated firmware's the blind scan works properly (385HD AVANT)

Interesting that it effects all the units. I have found some morning the receiver will skip past it as it should. Not sure if its dependent on signal levels. If you put them in manually the signal quality swings all over the place. I assume its the tuner can't lock onto it due to the high sr. Either way in the old version of the software it works. Maybe internally set to move on if its not locked within a certain time.

Have noticed some feed stuff is detected in blindscan but when freq entered manually there no quality reading at all. Odd behaviour. They are legit feeds too not some different modulation.
