Ok, I'm considering setting up a networked PVR, not computer based (unless there is a good solution), but one that is network connectable, has a web interface that allows setting of recordings via that page form any browser and allows replaying of recorded programs over the network to networked TV's. Possible multi format playback from a internal hard drive.

Is there such a abeast/system?
