    Default 2 cards?

    Question??

I have a dreambox with 2 cards (nd5 and ird) that have the similar channels.

Is there a way using mgcamd to default to ird for most channels, and only use nd5 for others?

I am guessing provider id needs updating in a file?

    Thanks.

Here's a link to another thread discussing this but I couldn't get it to work but then I wasn't using 2 cards but 2 cs servers.

The following P: Line placed in your CCcam.prio file will select ND5 over IRD when the ND5 channel is available if not it will switch to IRD.

Can it also be used at the serving end? If you were say, serving the 2 cards with CCcam?

I am not using CCcam, how would you set this up using newcs and mgcamd. I am thinking it might be a different setting in priority.list file?

    Any ideas???

The only way to achive this at the server end is to have 2 servers.

    1. Server A will host 2 cards,
    2. Server B will connect to server A,
you'll need to have CCCam .prio on server B.
    3. All the clients connect to server B.
