Has anyone worked out a solution or have a firmware fix for the supernet 488.
Its married and i want to give it a divorce as i dont think the relationship is
working.

Not sure but "Hualin" in Sydney who move lots of 488's know all about the "E17" problem and that is what they are saying...(Distributor told them)firmware coming in the next couple of weeks.

Easy,
if you are still using firmware L 210, load L 211 and then remarry the new card, this is only a short term fix

How does a firmware upgrade which causes a card marry help?
The problem is also that the cards cannot be taken to other boxes or even 2.26 purple cams.

Gypsy,supernet have apparently sent someone who should be here the next few days in Sydney to test the local card issues and update the firmware accordingly.

been done testing apperently ok just have to get software

The new firmware is on the streets now and yes it has fixed the problem of cards being married to boxes..at least as far as I know.I can now move mine back and forth between two other units and no dreaded E17.Switched several times and it was fine.Hualin who sell these in Sydney have it so I suppose you can email them and give that a go!

...if someone has this patch, why isn't it being posted? I fail to see how a fix for a problem should not be made public. Someone please enlighten me....
