    Default Bosch solutions 16 - disable zone 9

    Hey all

    I have a bosch solutions 16 alarm panel and we are in the process of knocking a wall out in our bedroom. The problem is that we have a panic button installed on this wall so I need to disable zone 9 and then enable it again at a later date.

    A few years back I needed to change over a detector in zone 5 and the alarm guy told me to enter the following;

    away, 1607, away, 372, away, 15, stay, away, 960, away

    I then changed the detector in zone 5 and he told me to enter the following;

    1607, away, 372, away, 2, stay, away, 960, away

    So I believe the installers code if 1607, is that correct??? So looking at the above if i want to disable zone 9 and then enable it once I have moved the panic button do I enter the following;

    Disable zone 9 - away, 1607, away, 404, away, 15, stay, away, 960, away
    Enable zone 9 - 1607, away, 404, away, 0, stay, away, 960, away

    Thanks heaps!!

    Change 404 to 396 and it should work.

    Also change 0 to 12 when you enable it - that will make it work all the time.

    NO!!!

    gowie77 was correct - zone 9 is at location 404, not 396. The part about storing a "12" in location 404 instead of 0 is correct, as this makes the zone a "24 hour" zone, which is how panic buttons should be programmed..

    You are right.

    I was thinking zone 8 for some reason - teaches me for thinking on a public holiday.
