For anyone interested.
This is a link to my Grandfather and Father's medals from WW1 & WW2, plus some odd bods they collected.
Many more ribbons, tunic badges etc, but not uploaded.

Thanks for sharing , I dabble a little in militaria .
Is it possible to trace war medals
The reason i ask is because a friend of mine, whose father moved back to Tassie, remarried and since died, his medals disappeared, suspicions are the druggy step son in law may have sold them?. My friend has written them off. The father was captured and a Shangi war prisoner for the duration of the war. If it is any assistance, he is of the Baldock clan (as in Darryl the footballer)
Just a shame as Admin has stressed, it is family heritage to be passed onto the oldest sons/son
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"
HI , I collect medals and most things military , the only thing you can do is to keep googling the name and hope it appears on a forum or for sale site ,
in saying that most experienced collectors of named medals don't publish names .
Keep on Googling , and create a "google alert" with the name , they might show up one day .
