windows xp media center edition 2005

I have Sony VAIO VGN-C1S with windows xp media center edition 2005 preinstalled. Unfortunatly hard disc gone broken, and I have to remove it with new one.
Since I did not recive original copy windows xp, but I have original product key anyone knows where I can get or download clean copy of this kind XP?

Ebay is probably your best bet if you can't find original install disc - what I suspect.

Windows Media Center is only included in Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate editions.

To install Windows 7 on your machine, it must have at least a 1 GHz processor and a DirectX 9 graphics with WDDM 1.0 driver (or higher). And, the 32-bit version of Windows 7 requires also 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB free hard disk space.

Please carefully re-read my post you quoted: It was a response to a general advice given to you to upgrade to Windows 7. Nothing else.

As I can see it's you who will not see that Windows XP MCE 2005 already since years is no longer available ( means sold by Microsoft ) unless as a pirated copy.

Pirated copies you surely will find if you do a Google-search for.

The immediate lack of seeders when you checked does not necessarily mean that someone won't start to seed for you.

Use Google to find other sites to obtain what you want. They are there, it just takes a little effort to find them.

I would download a genuine copy of Windows 7 Pro with SP1 ( unfortunately since February 2015 you can't obtain it no longer directly at Microsoft ) , install it and afterwards request Microsoft to provide the activation key: requires that you simply phone Microsoft, no troubles!

If you need this Windows 7 32-bit Pro edition, let me know it here (not via PM - because disabled!): I then will put a ZIPed version of it into the cloud.

Put it somewhere and let me know where is it, to download. I'll try this version, to see how it works. But I still looking for my version of XP cause I think that this VAIO is projected for XP. I'm already downloading XP but is stucked in 59.1 %. Maybe some seeders will appear.
