the dicky smith blew up

the toshiba i put in for my brother doesnt have av so the fox wont work so i give him mine, all sorted

im using the toshiba (dont need av) as my fox signal is analogue from the lounge room,

i cant tune fox in, dvt is ok, all other tvs pick up the fox on atv in here

am i missing something or the toshiba just sucks?

Without checking I think one of the Titan SD Foxtel box's I have transmits on UHF 37 in analog of course.
Not sure what Foxtel STB you have but based on the Titan, you go into the Menu and find where it allows you to set the required Channel, then once thats done, you would have to then do a scan on the TV.

On my remote, press ACTIVE, Go to SETUP, Go to Installation, Go to Decoder.
box opens showing TIME,UHF Tuning etc.
Press UHF tuning and it opens to let you set an output channel.
By default this one appears to be set on 69 by default so you could try setting that manually on the TV rather than scanning for it.

Its just so jolly simple when you know HOW...................ohhh dont forget to press SELECT each time to open each option.
