    Default Garmin Maps on Kenwood DNX7360BT

    Hello All

    I have just purchased a Kenwood DNX7360BT Sat Nav Unit. It did not come with the Garmin SD Card for the maps. Kenwood want $220 for the SD Card!!

    Is there anyone on here that has a way of sharing their maps from their SD Card so that I may be able to transfer the contents onto another SD Card to use in my unit?

    Or is there any other way of doing it to get out of paying another $220??

    Can I buy a regular City Navigator SD Card for $20 off ebay?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Beware of ebay Maps, some are just crap from what I have heard.

    I'm not sure if the Kenwood needs a special card or not.
    If it doesn't & will accept any MicroSD card with the Garmin map in Garmin folder then;

    You may get the map you want at or maybe Navitotal.
    Make sure you get the unlocked.img file.

    You are looking for latest City Navigator Australia and NZ NT 2015.40 - HERE

    See my Tutorial, will get the Map on the card right.

    Cheers, Tiny

    Kenwood car navs may run Garmin's software but they aren't Garmin hardware so everything to do with loading maps and files is a little different and it also varies between Kenwood headunits. You might be best looking at this method posted in GPSPower for DNX9990HD, which is also confirmed to work in DNX6180, DNX7210BT, DNX525DAB, DNX7230DAB and DNX9990HD. Probably will work for other related Kenwood units too:
