These guys produce all sorts of "collectable" stuff. Their coins are always only legal tender in Kiribati and not legal tender in Australia. I believe they give the Kiribati Government a kickback.
They were however dumb enough to think they could use the word Anzac and the Rising Sun logo without permission and will be in trouble.
I actually got a letter in the mail yesterday from them trying to sell it (I am not on their mailing list so I am presuming it was a mass mailout)
A VICTORIAN souvenir coin maker is under investigation for unauthorised use of the rising sun logo and the word Anzac.
THE Department of Defence and the Department of Veterans Affairs say they are investigating the use of these protected features on a Macquarie Mint coin and in related marketing material.
The "1915 Gallipoli Landing Centenary" coin is advertised as legal tender in the central pacific nation of Kiribati.

Whilst I appreciate the need to preserve the ANZAC memory, I would suggest that those for whom the authority to grant license to use the ANZAC "brand" were not getting a kick back. It seems rather Hypocritical to prevent (e.g.) the Franklin mint to produce memorial coins, yet allow (IIRC) the newspapers to "sell" them when you purchase their paper.
If they were truly about preserving the ANZAC spirit then, perhaps they should ban all use of the name except in the traditional sense, i.e. Anzac day and Anzac biscuits.

Another cashing in on Brandzac day
well.I bought one.Might be a collecters item one day(wishfull thinking)
These so called modern Anzac cash grabs are pretty much worthless in the militaria collecting field , I believe target or Kmart got in trouble also for using the word Anzac without permission on some clothing and quickly withdrew the items from sale .
