I will have to find my measuring stick Its just a touch wider than the width of the shell case, it only fits in there when tilted.

I am of the opinion that its not military, but it still makes you wonder

looks like i could be a bomb propeller

Check near the bottom of this web page
"This mechanical impact nose fuse was screwed into the front of the bomb. Once it was ‘safely’ mounted in the plane the safety pin could be pulled. It fact the main roll of the fuse is probably to stop it exploding before being dropped! A wire attaches the bomb pin to the aircraft. After the bomb is dropped the arming vane (propeller) would unwind and fall off, exposing the percussion plunger (firing pin) which would detonate as the bomb hit the ground."

It looks very corroded , it's been in contact with water for a while . Also looks like cast alloy with a steel spindle ?

but i can say 100% it does not belong to the artillery round

Here we have a enameled USSR border guard badge from 1970/80s

This badge was established in 1973 and was worn by the head of a Border Guard patrol, the most experienced soldier or NCO of the group. It is thus a type of "duty officer" or "duty soldier"
badge. The soldier wearing the badge had the power to stop and search people in the border zone
and to make arrests if necessary.

I googled a few more pics and that is it for sure.

On the embarrassment front, I just had a close look at it and found a faded broad arrow mark

Thats the only Russian badge I own

I do have quite a few USSR medals and orders though, I started collecting Soviet stuff years ago but stopped when it got too pricey for me.

These are German WW2 winter fundraising "tinnes" made from glass , approx the size of a 20 cent coin , these are from the series pond life .

Germany made hundreds of different series of winter fundraising tokens , Most were pressed tin or plastic in a large varieties of themes to support the motherland.

Whistles outside WW1 and 2 (I probably should have added the ARP whistles to WW2 but too late)
