A U.S. Made bower trench lighter , commonly sold as a WW1 trench lighter by mistake , the company did not make this style till after 1930 , Many U.S. Servicemen during WW2 used this Brand of lighter , this style is now mass reproduced/faked under a variety of brand names .

The top flips over and the body slides up or down in one motion .

World War II 25 pounder slide ruler to calculate deflection
Needs a good clean and unfortunately the Barometer ruler is missing.
All rulers are reversible and hinge open with more scale options inside.
Would be interesting to find out what it's worth.

Nice piece Weirdo , not to sure about the value of slide rules , but I can tell you that some WWII 25 pounder slide rules were used in service up until 1970s , thanks for sharing .

That is unusual mate, I havent seen one before. I wonder whether he possibly never applied for his medals and did so on that anniversary year and received it for that reason ??

My grandfather received this one after the war in 1946. Council's supplied them and not the government in most cases back then.

Here we have here is a modern recreation of a WW2 Australian stiletto dagger made in Australia by a custom knife maker who is a ex ADF member . He makes customs and some of his own designs , he mainly works on Australian military knives styles then puts his prospective on it , in a word improves the original specs .
Top quality workmanship comparable to top name knife makers . 3-6 month wait times approximately. (Hurstfield Armoury)

Group to John Flisher. Served in British Army WW1 in France, moved to Australia after the war and joined his local Freemason Branch where he was obviously highly respected. He received a Knighthood from them and 2 other medals, and also served in WW2 in Australia.

A WW2 British Air Raid Precautions (ARP) badge , ARP was an organisation in the United Kingdom set up as an aid in the prelude to the Second World War dedicated to the protection of civilians from the danger of air-raids.

This is the men's lapel button hole type and is hall marked sterling silver .
