Looks like the earlier model Pommy L1A3. Slightly different to the ones we had, the L1A2, not as pointy at the tip as the Pommy ones.

They are getting harder to find given there wasnt a lot issued and there are fakes galore of this medal. I think most would be unnamed due to the UK being the likely recipient of most of them, another reason there arent as many is the stupid clasp rules. If you qualified for 3 stars from a group that included the Aircrew Europe Star, you got the star that you first qualified for and 2 clasps for the other 2. Its amazing how scungy they are for people who risked their lives.

How very true , something I would like to find one day is the ‘Arctic Star’ , under 2000 eligible, and only 20% or so will claim them

A small selection of my stuff for valuation...

The brass one is a repro

The 2nd Patt. F-S is a modern one.

    Complete

The Suunto and the Garmins are private purchase.

What's wrong with this LAND125 utility pouch?

There's something odd about this LAND125 (Auscam) Minimi pouch too...

    1966-dated

    Still counts as militaria

Leather pouch is original, but not sure about the cutters

Not the most common set out there.

The first pamphlet is on the .303 SMLE and the second is on the Bren gun.
