The big shell is from
My father in law was a Telstra Technician in the 80's and was there doing a job when a bloke asked my father in law to do a small private job for him while he was there. Instead of cash, took home a van full of artillery shells

The RASB is not issued posthumously.”

That's an interesting ring. If I'd ever seen one, I'd not have even considered that it was historically significant and just written it off as a bit of novelty junk. Thanks for ejumukating me!
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
All good , German rings are a specialty collecting field , most are cast fantasy designs , or cast copies of known patterns , old period advertising catalogs exist to show period designs.
Original german rings were die struck with high quality details , literally 99% of german rings for sale are fake or fantasy .

These coins were given to me as I collect coins. I couldn't image the stories these coins could tell.

I have some German WW2 banknotes somewhere, I'll dig them out if I remember.
Re: the ring, the only official/original ones are called Totenkopf rings and are an award bestowed by Himmler. As mentioned there were many unofficial rings privately bought and even made by various units.
They are very heavily faked and you would want a lot of proof and guarantees before purchasing one. Those that watch Pawn Stars might be familiar with military expert Craig Gottleib, who has a couple on his website.
I see he has this mans ring for sale for $25,000
If only they could talk...........

Pair of Perry Sportswear USAAF A-2 flight jackets, WW2 era:
Another Perry Sportswear USAAF A-2:
'Irvin' (actually made by Links we think) RAF WW2 shearling flight jacket:
(I've since restored it, fixing up the stitching, added a reproduction buckle and elastic neck strap to replace the missing bits)
USAF B-15C and L-2A nylon flight jackets, 1960s:
USAAF B-3 shearling flight jacket, WW2 era.
Has a very faint name & service number written on one of the neck straps, done some basic research trying to find information about the airman who once wore it into battle, not found out very much... yet.
Got the disease bad. Lots more flying jackets in my collection, these are the best of my bunch.
Not strictly military, Soviet GP-5 gas mask:
Also got a Geiger-Muller tube out of Lithuania to make my own counter. Lots of good stuff coming out of the former Eastern Bloc countries
Modern GP field watch
The watch is a Marathon PRF-46374G, made for US military use, so no broad arrow on this. This is the 'sterile' version that doesn't have "US Government" on the face. Don't think Commonwealth armed forces use this watch?
